Today we looked at the end of the American Revolution and the beginning of this new nation. America's first government was not what we have today but the Articles of the Confederation. It was a good idea based mostly on trying to be exactly what Britain wasn't but had some problems. Shays' rebellion being one issue that caused a lot of fear about this new government.
